In response to the Tennis Court Oath, king Louis tried to make peace with the third estate. The citizens heard that the king called in his army of Swiss soldiers which causes the citizens to gather weapons. This showed the King was fearful -

The document reflecting enlightenment ideas and the Declaration of Independence. This gave men the equal rights that the country needed. -

A period of violence occurred during the French Revolution. This showed how severely poor the citizens were treated. -
Women March on Versailles
Working class women marched the palace at Versailles looking for Marie Antoinette. This provided the women a role in the revolution and showed hatred toward the queen. -

Louis and his family tried to escape, but were recognized in Paris and returned under guard. This showed how many of the citizens hated the king -
Louis XVI executed
Louis executed at Place de la Revolution. This showed the dedication towards the revolution. -

A five member committee which governed France, which was overthrown by Napoleon. This showed how vulnerable France was.
