    This was the oath taken by the third estate, when they couldn't get in the meeting. So, they took an oath at the indoor tennis court, saying, they did not want to be apart of the king.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    Storming of the Bastille
    This was the major turning point for the revolutionaries. This was when the rebels took weapons, and freed the political prisoners.
  • The Declaration of the Rights of Man

    The Declaration of the Rights of Man
    This was a Declaration that was signed by the third estate. This was the first step towards the constitution of France, because it showed what SHOULD be the rights of the people.
  • Women's March on Versailles

    Women's March on Versailles
    This march was taken because, there were rumors going around stating that Marie Antoinette was hiding grain in the palace. The women went to the palace to force the King and Queen to move back to France.
  • Champ De Mars Massacre

    Champ De Mars Massacre
    This massacre was caused when the French people were throwing stones at the soldiers, and then the soldiers started firing in the air to make them stop, but then started firing in the crowd. So, this caused a massacre.
  • Constitution of 1791

    Constitution of 1791
    This was a constitution that was created after the fall of the monarchy. This created a new form of government called an, Constitutional Monarchy.
  • The Louis XVI Execution

    The Louis XVI Execution
    This is the day that Louis XVI was executed. He was executed for going behind the backs of the French people.
  • The Committee of Public Safety

    The Committee of Public Safety
    This Committee created the new De Facto Government, which gained control of France.
  • The End of the Reign of Terror

    The End of the Reign of Terror
    The End of the Reign of Terror, was when Maximilian Robespierre was executed.
