    Galileo was the fist to look at/ discover moons. When Galileo first saw these moons he realized that there were little grey spots (craters.) As time passed he realized the spots changed every day. Galileo discovered that the moons and planets were not flat.

    Robert Goddard was the first to think of using liquid fuel and multiple stage rockets. He also made a system of cool down gases to make the rocket more efficient.
  • Hermann Oberth joins rocket team for German military, designed V-2 missile.

    The third rocket pioneer, Hermann Oberth joined scientists for the German military. Their creation of the V-2 missile played a big part in WW2. Later in 1942 it was launched to space (first human made object.)
