The Industrial Revolution took place in the 18th to 19th centuries which was a period during which predominantly agrarian, rural societies in Europe and America became industrial and urban. -
Louisiana Purchase
After the War the United States gained all of Britain's territory South of Canada and west to the Mississippi. In 1803 President Thomas Jefferson brought Louisiana a large territory between the Rocky Mountains and the mississippi River. -
Civil War
In the beginning of time some Americans wanted to end slavery and others could care less eventually the country split into two sides the Northern free states and the Southern slavery states but then in 1860 Abraham Lincoln a Northerner who hated slavery was elected president and wanted a law to be passed for no slave owners but then the civil war happened. -

Most Americans wanted to stay out of the fight. Then Germany sunk many ships killing many U.S. civilians the U.S. joined the war in 1917
to help their allies win. -

In 1929 stock prices plunged and many people lost their money. Which started the Greay Depression. Many people lost their jobs and ended up dieing because they couldn't buy their family food. -
