Boat trip
The storyteller travels in a boat with a friend, who loves art, and his wife. -
Art pictures
The storyteller looked at some boxes that had his friend, he thought that there were just somo art pictures, so he didn't take care of it at all, he didn't even asked -
Deadly box
Some days after, there is a thunderstorm, and they had to scape from the boat. Every body went into the lifeboats, but the friend man was still on the boat with that box. After a few minutes he jumped with the box and the storyteller noticed that the wife of his friend was dead inside of the box. -
The illness
There is a town, with a kindoom. In this town appears a mortal illness, so the peoplr that were rich and healthy stated all in a castle and the poor people stayed outside. -
The sound of silence
There was a room in the castle that was special, it was red and inside of it there were a clock. This clock makes sounds when it was o'clock, and it also made the castle fall in silence when it sounds. -
Death's mask
At twelve o'clock, one man appeared with red mask. The king noticed, and he said that in his casttle, there was an unknown guy. All the soldiers, made a chase to take him. The stranger, went into the red room and in that moment everybody in the casttle died, including the king. -
One way trip
A person wants to see a maelstrom, so he decided to go to an island in Norway, where the maelstrom usually appears. He contracted a guide who was the only one that wanted to come. -
Mealstrom story
The man asked the guide what would happen if they fall inside the mealstrom, and the guide told him a story to him. The story was that he went with his cousin to see a maelstrom, which started at 7 o'clock, but it started at 6. -
Deeper than they thought
They tried to cross to other island, but in that moment, the maelstrom started, so he hold a barrel with all his strengths and he fell into the maelstrom, but the barrel floated, and he could go to the seashore. -
Mr Valdemar
Mr valdemar is the storyteller, he loves the hypnotist, he sometimes help to sleep other people because he really likes it. -
Hypnotize
The storyteller wanted to hypnotize a death man by using respiratory problems. -
The miracle
Finally, the storyteller find the solution, he has the idea of using the hypnisis. Valdermar woke up better, it was like an operation but only using words. -
Just a letter
The storyteller took a letter who had been written by his friend. In the letter he says that his friend who sent the letter is very ill. When the storyteller knows that his friend is ill, he decide to go to his home to visit him. -
Friend's look
The storyteller arrived to his home, and he saw that his friend was really bad, as his friend told him. His friend looks like an old guy. His friend was living with his sister, who was looking after him. -
A bittersweet surprise
An ordinary day, his friend saied to the storyteller that his sister was dead. The storyteller decided to go and help him, and he also went to a room with the coffin of his sister. After they went up stairs, they found his sister, she wasn't dead. When his friend saw her, he fell to the floor, and then, he ran away of that home. -
William Legrand
William Legrand is a person who loves the insects, he lives in South Carolina. He has a friend who is called Jupiter. He found a bug which looked like it was made by gold. -
The golden bug
Legrand gives to his friend a picture of a bug. Jupiter said that it looked like a skull, Legrand get angry and take the drawing for the examination. -
The map
Finally he and his friend go to a forest to investigate about the golden bug, they found a skull, the same skull that his friend saw in the drawing, but he draw a bug. Finally the drawing is a type of map for a treasure. -
Suffering in the dark.
He was dark. He was trying to remember what happened. He ask to himself if he was in a coffin, if he was dead... He tried to move his hands forward, but he couldn't do anything, he couldn't see anything... -
In the edge of the death
He could see that he was in a square room. But a blade was in the roof of the room, and he didn't know what to do! The pendulum was moving so fast all around his neck to him, so he was frightened. -
Last chaces
He had an idea to scape from the death: He reached out his hand, and he took some meet from the dish. Then, he rubbed the meet on his body, and the rats ate it. He could scape, but then, the walls became hot and they were getting closer to him. When he thought that he was going to die, a french soldier rescued him.
