they had moved back to America so he can focus on his novels more, renting a mansion in Delaware for a few years and Zelda had wanted to become a professional dancer so they returned to Paris for ballet training but it had damaged Zeldas health so she had gotten treated at a clinic in 1931 and Fitzgerald had to write short stories to pay for her health. -
moving alone
Fitzgerald had fallen into alcoholism and moved to Hollywood by himself in 1937 to work as a screen writer. he was writing a novel called "the love of the last tycoon", working on the draft when he passed from a heart attack in December 21 1940. Fitzgerald had died thinking of himself as a failure because of his alcoholism and not being able to write novels that much. later on Zelda Fitzgerald had died in march of 1948.
