    Was the first meeting of all three french Estates in over 100 years.It was called to order by King Louis XVI because of the very large french deficit.During this meeting, the 3rd Estate was largely ignored and had their own requests vetoed by the other two Estates in conjunction.This lead to the 3rd Estate creating the National Assembly.

    The storming or assault of the prison fortress of Bastille is what many call the start of the infamous French Revolution.Once it was raided and destroyed,the rioters took weaopns and other items of value.The storm of Bastille became the symbol of the Revolution and inspired others across France to join.

    The declaration of Rights was a document put forth by the national Assembly stressing the values of the individual and the rights every person inherently had.These were some of the core principals of the French Revolution and was one of the dirving forces of it.

    This was a raid by a mob of angy french citizens who were fed up with the king and the tremendus shortages of food for the common working man.The King was forced out of the palace and into Paris thus making Versailles no loger the seat of the royal government as it had been for years.

    The Reign of Terror was a time in France where many people were executed as being "enemies of the state" because of the political war between the Jacobins and Girondins.Its estimated during this time that at least 20,000 people were executed or murdered.
