The declaration of the rights of man was created in late August. It stated that all the French men were born equally. The declaration further proclamied that all male citizens were equal before the law. The women marched to get bread. Women refused to leave Versailles untill they got there bread. -

France was divided into three diffrent estates. The first estate was made up of the clergy. The seconed estate was made up if the nobilty, and the thrid estate was comprised the vast majority of the population. -

The commander of the Bastille refused to open the gates and opened the fre on crowdes. The Bastille was a symbol of the people of the France representing years of abuse by the monarchy. -

In August the king of Prssia and the emperor of Austria they issued the Declaration of Pilnitz. In the document the two monarchs treatened to protect the French monarchy. -

The new elected Legislative Assembly took office. The sans-culottes pused the revolution into more radical action. -

Robespierre was one of the archittects of the Reign of Terror. it lasted form 1993 to July of 1794. Robespierre was a laywer and a politician. He wembraced all of Rousseus ideas of the general will. -
Third stage of the Revolution
because of the revolution the 3rd stage was introduced.The constution set up a 5 man Directory and a two-house legislature elected by male citizens. before long Napoleon became the ruler of France. -
